2011 Oscar nominations. Hollywood was abuzz Tuesday morning as the nominations were announced for the 83rd annual Academy Awards. The British monarchy saga The King’s Speech led the pack with 12 nominations, followed by the Coen brothers’ western True Grit with 10. Other nominees among the 10 films for best picture included The Social Network, Black Swan, The Fighter and 127 Hours.
