Storms and tornadoes continue to batter parts of the American south. Over 100 tornadoes cut a path through 6 states in a 24-hour period. At least 202 people lost their lives. Alabama was by far the worst hit with as many as 150 people killed. A mile-wide twister destroyed much of the city of Tuscaloosa.
