President Obama vowed on Wednesday to reduce US oil imports by a third over the next ten years. During a speech in Washington, Obama stressed it was time to get serious about securing an affordable energy future. Ultimately, he said that would mean aiming to get 80 percent of US electricity from non-oil sources by 2035.
