An international panel is meeting in Qatar to make decisions on Libya’s future. Among the delegates are UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, and officials from NATO, the EU, and the African Union. This comes on the heels of new reports of bloodshed in the Western part of the country.

Libya Plans To End Violence

Representatives for Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi and the African Union have agreed – in theory – to a plan to cease hostilities in the war-torn country. The plan would also allow forces from outside the country to assist with peacekeeping. It doesn’t address Gaddafi’s stepping down, and it’s non-binding, but it is a start.
