Ahmadinejad makes controversial trip to Lebanon. Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (mah-MOOD ahh-mah-dee-nee-ZHAHD) is in the middle of a controversial visit to Lebanon. His motorcade was showered with flowers and rice on the way to the Presidential palace. During his visit, he’ll be touring areas near the Israeli border that are strongholds for Hezbollah (hehz-boh-LAH).
