Jimmy Carter’s mission to North Korea was a success! The former President was expected to arrive back in the US on Friday with recently freed prisoner Aijalon Mahli Gomes in tow. Gomes had been sentenced to 8 years of hard labour in the reclusive state, but has been granted amnesty by Kim Jong-Il himself.
