An allied air strike has destroyed a building believed to be inside the personal compound of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi. However Western forces deny that the missiles were targeted at killing Gaddafi himself, as that would go against UN regulations. The US military says the ongoing air bombardment has crippled Gaddafi’s air defense forces.
