NATO has approved a new expanded operations plan in Libya. The alliance will now be in charge of the mission. This should ease the burden on the US, which so far has been leading the military action. NATO officials unanimously approved what’s being called a “no-fly plus” deal. This new NATO mandate should come into effect within the next few days.
