Afghan security forces have killed the last nine insurgent fighters responsible for what’s being called the most complex attack in Kabul to date. After twenty grueling hours of gunfire authorities finally managed to clear a multi-story building that was being used as a terrorist stronghold. The attacks focused on the city’s American embassy, NATO headquarters and police buildings.
