
NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen has confirmed that allied forces will be taking over command of the no-fly zone in Libya from the United States. Rasmussen says that talks on giving NATO a quote “broader responsibility” in the region are ongoing. However all 28 member countries have agreed to enforce the no-fly zone, and a handover could come as early as this weekend.
