Conrad Murray Found Guilty

Doctor Conrad Murray was found GUILTY of the involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson. The jury deliberated for 10 hours over a period of 2 days and found that Murray’s administration of the anesthetic propofol led to Jackson’s death in 2009. He was denied bail and led from the courtroom in handcuffs after the judge called him a quote “danger to society”.

After a preliminary hearing, a judge says that Michael Jackson’s personal physician is to be tried on involuntary manslaughter charges. Dr. Conrad Murray is accused of giving the pop star a lethal cocktail consisting of a potent anesthetic and other sedatives, and then neglecting to care for him properly. If he’s convicted, Murray could spend up to 4 years in prison.
