Telecom giant AT and T has just announced a massive acquisition that will make it the largest cellphone company in America. They’ve made an offer to purchase T-Mobile USA – the country’s 4th largest wireless carrier – for $39 billion. If it goes through, the acquisition will give AT&T 129 million subscribers stateside – serving close to 43-percent of the nation’s cellphones.
