Russian President Dmitry Medvedev is threatening to attack Europe over the US’s proposed missile Shield. The Kremlin claims the shield’s proximity to it’s borders is a threat to its sovereignty. The US and NATO insist that the shield is meant to protect Europe from a potential strike from rogue states like Iran. A US national security spokesman rubuffed Medvedev saying quote, “We will not in any way limit or change our deployment plans in Europe.”
