The White House is defending it’s role in Libya saying that President Obama DOES have the authority to continue in Libya without Congressional approval. The issue is a 1973 law that says that Congress must approve US involvement in hostilities that go on for longer than 60 days. But the White House says that American forces involved are simply supporting the NATO campaign.
