Ford plans on hiring thousands over next 2 years. Ford Motor Company has announced plans to add more than 7-thousand workers in the US over the next two years. That number includes 750 engineers with expertise in battery and advanced technologies as well as 6-thousand new manufacturing jobs. Many of the new opportunities will be at the automaker’s Louisville plant, but they’ve also started recruiting in Detroit, San Jose, Raleigh and Durham.
