Authorities in Russia seized luggage at the Moscow airport that contained radioactive material. The bag in question was en route to Iran, and had 18 cases containing the radioactive isotope sodium-22. Conflicting reports say that the material can come from a nuclear reactor, or that it’s exclusively used for scientific and medical research. The whereabouts of the Iranian passenger is unknown.
