Army birther prescribed 3-year jail sentence. A US Military Jury has convicted an Army Doctor who refused to deploy to Afghanistan after questioning President Obama’s nationality. Lieutenant Colonel Terrence Lakin had aligned himself with the controversial “birther” movement, who believe that Obama was born outside the US, and is therefore ineligible to be the American President. He now faces 3-and-a-half years in prison.
