Telecom giant AT&T has given up their contentious 39-billion dollar bid to purchase rival T-Mobile USA. However, industry watchers seem to feel that AT&T was the last to know the deal would fail. The US Department of Justice sued to block the merger, which would have made AT&T the largest mobile phone company in America.
