
Verizon customers in New Jersey got quite a scare on Monday. A bogus text from the National Emergeny Alert System was sent out by the carrier that warned of an EXTREME ALERT and told recipients to take shelter IMMEDIATELY. People panicked thinking the country was under attack, but then the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security issued a tweet stating it was all a hoax.
