Authorities in Derbyshire sent dozens of letters to people avoiding arrest that said they’d won a free crate of beer. To claim a prize, the crooks had to phone a hotline that had been secretly set up by police. Waiting at home for delivery, the cons were instead given a surprise visit by the boys in blue. Suckers!
