Halfway there — BP having some success with new containment cap technique. BP is continuing damage control efforts in the Gulf of Mexico. The latest containment cap installed on the company’s ruptured well is now funneling off approximately 10-thousand barrels of oil a day, more than half of what’s actually leaking. BP has so far spent more than a BILLION dollars on the clean up.
