Bradley Manning Gets Court Date

The man accused of giving military secrets to whistle blowing website WikiLeaks will finally get a day in court. Bradley Manning will face a military court on December 16th. This will be an “Article 32″ hearing – which is similar to a pre-trial hearing in civilian court. He was arrested in Iraq in May of 2010 and has been held in Military custody since.

Wikileaks Donates to Soldiers Defense Fund

Wikileaks comes to source’s defense. Whistleblowing site WikiLeaks has contributed 15-thousand dollars to the soldier accused of providing the site with over 250,000 US State Department documents. U.S. Army Specialist Bradley Manning is also suspected of leaking the notorious video of a 2007 helicopter attack that killed civilians and journalists. According to the Bradley Manning Defense Network, they’ve raised over 100,000 dollars for his defense so far.
