Police in Northern Ireland say that loyalist paramilitaries are to blame for rioting that broke out Monday night in Belfast. 500 people were involved in the clashes, and shots were fired at police forces by both loyalist and republican supporters. Molotov cocktails and bricks were also hurled in an incident authorities say was triggered by masked members of the Ulster Volunteer Force.
