Chinese news uses fake footage. The authenticity of a news broadcast in China has come into question after movie buffs spotted similarities between the news footage and a popular Hollywood blockbuster. Chinese Central Television ran a piece on air force training that they may have pieced together using shots from the final combat sequence of Top Gun. CCTV has removed the story from its website and, so far, declined comment.
