According to an FBI intelligence bulletin, a jihadist web forum posted a potential hit list naming 40 individuals in US government, industry and media. 26 of the names were posted alongside photos of the targets. The FBI noted that there has been an increase in postings on these types of websites since Osama bin Laden was killed. It was also noted that this list is “the most target specific threat posting” to date.
