Republican presidential hopeful Ron Paul cruised to a sweeping victory in the California Straw Poll this weekend after calling for a scaled-down government and an audit on the Federal Reserve. Paul took 44.9% of the votes, with his closest contender being Rick Perry with 29.3% percent.
