The FBI is investigating a series of computer hacks that targeted high profile celebrities. The bureau opened its inquiry after nude photos that appear to be of actress Scarlett Johansson were posted Wednesday online. The photos looked like Johansson herself took them and show the star topless on a bed, and flashing her backside in the mirror in another.

Former Daily Mirror reporter James Hipwell has been quoted claiming that voicemail hacking was a common practice while current CNN prime-time host Piers Morgan was editor of the paper. He claims the paper targeted the voicemails of celebrities such as the Spice Girls and soccer manager Sven-Goran Erikkson. For his part Morgan has vehemently denied the allegations.

YouTube talk show a hit on YouTube. A new program called “Partner’s Project” is aiming to become YouTube’s first official talk show. Host Shira Lazar – a video-blogger and CBS correspondent – has been hitting the web every Thursday, interviewing YouTube “celebrities”.
