The New York Times is reporting that a cell phone found in the secret compound of Osama bin Laden hints at links to Pakistan’s intelligence agency. The phone belonged to bin Laden’s courier and had numbers stored in it to a militant group with known affiliations to Pakistani intelligence. However officials maintain the phone is no “smoking gun”, and that it does not necessarily mean Pakistani authorities were complicit in hiding bin Laden.
