In the Middle East it’s being reported that that Syria’s government has resigned. This comes after days of massive protests. President Bashar al-Assad is expected to address his nation within the next day or so. Analysts believe he’ll repeal some harsh laws as well ease restrictions on civil liberties and political freedom.
