CNN has suspended one of their popular liberal pundits, Roland Martin, for homophobic comments he made on Superbowl Sunday. The political analyst tweeted “If a dude at your Super Bowl party is hyped about David Beckham’s H&M underwear ad, smack the ISH out of him.” Although Martin has apologized for the remarks, CNN has planned to keep him off the air until further notice.

With an election year looming on the horizon, the good news for President Obama is that his poll numbers are rising! According to a CNN/ORC International Poll, 50% of voters trust Obama to solve the nation’s problems. That’s up from 44% in March. Meanwhile, faith in congressional Republicans is fading fast!
