North Korea not retaliating against South. North Korea says they will not retaliate after the South held live-fire drills near their disputed maritime border. Similar drills resulted in the North’s deadly shelling of the island of Yeonpyeong last month. The North had threatened further retaliation, but said in a statement they don’t need to react to “every despicable military provocation” from the South.
