Surfing the web is about to get a little more interesting. The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers has voted to allow companies the use of custom domain names. Links will soon start ending with suffixes like dot-apple or dot-sony but they will cost a pretty penny. A unique domain name will come with a 185-thousand dollar set-up fee and a 25-000 dollar annual subscription charge.
