The FBI has broken up a ring of cyber scammers who managed to swindle $72 million from their victims. The group made their money peddling fake security software that claimed to scan PC’s for security risks and then asked for cash to fix the non-existent problems. The FBI coordinated raids in the US, UK and six other countries.
