Japan has announced plans to scrap 4 reactors at the Fukushima nuclear plant. Tokyo Electric Power – Tepco – also said that they’ve been unable to bring reactors 1 through 4 under control, although they claim they’re stabilizing. Readings near Reactor 1 shows radioactive iodine levels in the sea that are over 3,300 times the legal limit.
