NASA has finally announced which museums it will be sending its retired space shuttles to. Discovery is heading to the Air & Space Museum in Virginia, Atlantis is going to Florida’s Kennedy Space Center, Endeavour to the California Science Center in Los Angeles and Enterprise will go on display at the Intrepid museum in New York City.

Discovery Launches Final Mission

Timothy Kopra Off Space Mission

Astronaut Timothy Kopra is arguably having the worst week of his life! Kopra sustained unspecified injuries in a bicycle crash and has now been informed that he won’t be part of the space shuttle Discovery’s final mission next month. Kopra was to be the lead space walker on the mission, and would have ventured out twice to perform work on the International Space Station. Poor guy!
