Ousted Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and his family have been issued a travel ban and had their assets frozen by Egypt’s public prosecutor. The Egyptian government has also asked a number of other nations to freeze the Mubarak family’s assets – valued at anywhere between 1 and 70 billion dollars – as it conducts an investigation into corruption related offences.
