Emanuel left off ballot in Chicago mayoral race. President Obama’s Former Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel has been kicked off the ballot for Mayor of Chicago just weeks before the election. He’s the current front-runner but questions have been raised about his eligibility and whether he’s ABLE to run because he didn’t reside in Chicago in the year before this election. An Appellate Court ruled that he didn’t meet residency requirements. He plans on appealing to the state supreme court.

Texas officials accidentally send out ballots with Chilean flag. Election officials in Texas were red-faced after it was discovered they were sending out ballot papers with the WRONG FLAG on them! Instead of the Texas flag, the inserts for Atascosa County had the similar flag of Chile. Even more embarrassing, they’d been sent out with the wrong flag for YEARS with nobody noticing!

Kosovo has just held their first election since formally declaring their independence from Serbia. Prime Minister Hashim Thaci managed to hold on to his office, with 31-percent of the vote.
