The twin island nation of Trinidad and Tobago has elected its FIRST EVER female prime minister. Kamla Persad-Bissessar’s coalition ousted Prime Minister Patrick Manning on Monday after Manning called an election 30 months ahead of schedule. Manning accepted the results and then announced he’d be re-evaluating his future in politics.
