17,000 chickens have been culled in Hong Kong in response to fears of a new bird flu outbreak. This after a dead chicken tested positive for the H5N1 avian virus. Hong Kong has suspended the trading of live chickens for the next three weeks in hopes of containing the bug, which can be transferred to humans.
