The patents on some of the best selling drugs in the US are set to expire and that means HUGE savings are on the horizon. Within the next 14 months pharmaceutical companies will be free to make generic versions of the drugs, and sell them for FAR less than they go for now. Some of the drugs affected are cholesterol fighter Lipitor and blood thinner Plavix.
