Drug Violence Continues In Mexico

In Mexico, suspected drug traffickers dumped 35 bodies from two trucks on a busy street in Veracruz during rush hour. Gunmen stood with weapons aimed at rush hour motorists as the dead were laid out. All of the victims identified so far had criminal records and authorities are trying to determine if they had any gang affiliations.

Terrorists Attack Hotel In Kabul

NATO forces have killed nine suicide bombers and gunmen at a landmark hotel in Kabul. The militants launched their attack late Tuesday night. Disguising themselves as civilians, they surprised guests in the hotel dining room. The insurgents were shot and in some cases detonated themselves over the course of the five-hour standoff. At least thirteen others were killed in the fighting, including a senior provincial judge.
