The head of air traffic control in the US has handed in his walking papers! Hank Krakowski is leaving the FAA in the wake of several incidents where air traffic controllers fell asleep on the job, leaving pilots to land planes without any radio tower assistance. The FAA is responding by doubling staffing for overnight shifts at two-dozen airports across the country.
