
Four men have been arrested in Singapore after some 6000 radio frequency modules were shipped from Minnesota to Singapore and then on to Iran. They originally said the parts were to be used for the telecommunications industry but in reality they were used in the detonation systems of IED’s designed to attack US troops. The accused will now be extradited to the US for a trial where they will face charges including conspiracy to defraud the US, smuggling, illegal export of goods and obstruction of justice.
