In a truly nation-wide crackdown, US officials arrested 2,900 illegal immigrants over the past week. They were arrested in all 50 states, as well as 4 US territories. All of the illegals had prior criminal convictions, and nearly 1,300 had multiple convictions, some for serious felonies including kidnapping and attempted murder.
