NATO forces have killed nine suicide bombers and gunmen at a landmark hotel in Kabul. The militants launched their attack late Tuesday night. Disguising themselves as civilians, they surprised guests in the hotel dining room. The insurgents were shot and in some cases detonated themselves over the course of the five-hour standoff. At least thirteen others were killed in the fighting, including a senior provincial judge.
