The Syrian military says they’re advancing on the town of Jisr al-Shughour to “restore order”. Government spokespeople say that 120 security personnel were killed by armed insurgents in the town. However, contrary reports say they were actually killed as part of a mutiny from other security forces. Over 2,000 Syrians have crossed the border to Turkey as refugees.
