Wikileaks Swiss banking source on trial. A Swiss banker who purportedly leaked confidential information to WikiLeaks is on trial in Zurich. Rudolf Elmer, a former employee of the Julius Baer Group, is accused of leaking evidence that could implicate clients of tax evasion. Prosecutors say that after he was fired in 2002, he tried to extort the bank under the threat he would make the information public.
