The US Drug Enforcement Agency has arrested almost 2,000 people, as part of a 20-month operation against the notorious drug cartel La Familia Michoacana. In addition to the arrests, the DEA also seized over a ton of meth, over a ton of cocaine, 7 tons of marijuana, and millions of dollars in other assets.
