The war in Iraq is officially over. Early on Sunday morning, the last of the US troops serving in Iraq crossed the border into Kuwait marking the end of the nine-year war. The final convoy of 110 heavily armored vehicles carrying some 500 soldiers made its way down the main highway and streamed slowly and steadily out of the combat zone.
