NFL players have won an early battle in the labour dispute with league owners. A US district judge has ordered that the owners lift the seven-week lockout against the players. With the lockout lifted, teams can no longer ban players from training facilities. However the owners are already appealing the judge’s ruling, which means the fate of the 2011 season is still up in the air.
